On Thursday 7 August Fr. Dionysius Mintoff celebrated 70 of priesthood during a thanksgiving Mass in the Franciscan church of Santa Marija ta’ Gesù in Valletta. He was joined by friars, relatives and friends. In the homily Fr. Anthony Chircop Minister Provincial thanked Fr. Dionysius for his work as director of the Pope John XXIII Peace Laboratory in Hal Far, where Pope Francis went on his pastoral visit to Malta. The Minister General Fr. Massimo Fusarelli also sent a special blessing to Fr. Dionysius on this unique occasion of 70 years of priesthood.
