Franciscan Vocations Pilgrimage to Assisi

All good things come to an end. Today was the last day of pilgrimage for the adolescents of the Franciscan Vocations group. The pilgrimage to Assisi, held between 17-21 August, was organised by Br Lorrie Zerafa OFM, and supported by the Minister Provincial Br Anthony Chircop OFM and several other brothers. The group had the opportunity to visit the most important places related to St. Francis and St. Claire. Mass was celebrated at the Porziuncola, at San Damiano, at St. Claire’s Basilica, at the Tomb of St. Francis and at the church of St Mary Major (santuario della spogliazione), where the remains of Blessed Carlo Acutis are kept. This, together with the joy of being together, made the pilgrimage truly special.

Let us pray for these young pilgrims and for more Franciscan Vocations.
