Provincial Chapter Day 3

The Capitular assembly resumed the Chapter proceedings at 9am with Mid-Day prayer. The Moderator did the roll call. Due to the length of the Minutes, five copies were printed and the friars were requested to read them and make any corrections if necessary. They will be aproved tomorrow.

At 9:15 Br Raymond Falzon, read the report on Mission and evangelisation and a discussion followed. What emerged with clarity is the need to revamp the structure of evengelisation and coordinate the various activities. Working together as a community is a challenge but we should believe in it and work for it. After the discussions, Br Raymond Falzon concluded the discussion and thanked the assembly for their feedback.

We stopped the discussion at 10:10am for a coffee break.

At 10:38am we resumed our work at the Capitular Hall. Br Noel Muscat read out the reports on formation and vocation animation. Various interventions were made on the theme of formation. It emerged with clarity that the Postulancy needs to be revised, that formators need to be formed, that each fraternity and each friar should draw up a project of life.

At 13:00 it was decided to end the discussion on Formation and turn to the proposals. All the proposals were read and then we started visiting them one by one and correcting the words.

At 13:30 The Minister General closed today’s work with a final exhortation on tomorrow’s elections. We need to elect people who represent us and who can carry out the will of God for the Province.
