On Sunday 6 July 2025 the Lord called to eternal rest the mother of Br. Marcello Ghirlando, Carmen Ghirlando. The funeral Mass was celebrated on 8 July at the Holy Family Parish Church in L-Iklin, with the presence of the friars of the Province and other priests, particularly the Bishop of Gozo Anton Teuma who concelebrated with Br. Marcello. May the Lord grant her eternal rest.
