The Philippines’ Ambassador, His Exc.Elmer G Cato, while visiting The Filipino communities in Benghazi and Tobruk, presented P. Sandro Overend Rigillo,ofm, Apostolic Administrator in Benghazi, a Plaque of Gratitude for his presence and continued caring to the Filipino Community during the outbreak of the Corona Virus. The celebration was held on the 18th Of December in Benghazi.
P. Sandro also received a communication letter of gratitude and appreciation for the work being done at the Apostolic Vicariate of Benghazi and the East of Libya, from Card. J. Tagle, Prefect for the Congregation of the Evangelisation of Peoples. Words of encouragement and prayers have been expressed to P. Sandro,in a sense of solidarity and communion by the Cardinal.
