As we return to our friaries from our Provincial Chapter, a profound moment of prayer and discernment, we carry with us a renewed spirit to “abound in hope” in our service within the Church in Malta and Gozo.
Having listened deeply to what the Holy Spirit is calling us for today, we want to reaffirm our commitment to being truly present among the people, bringing the light of Jesus into the reality of their daily lives.
Our mission as Friars Minor remains a profound privilege in serving everyone with humility and joy, extending our hand not only to those close to us but also those in the peripheries of our society.
We want to express our gratitude to our collaborators with who we journey as we return with a revitalized heart eager to serve the youth who are our future.
Above all, we want to express our deepest gratitude to all the communities we serve, not only the Maltese, but also the Indian, Filipino and Paskistani nationals living amongs us, as it is through their constant prayers and support that we find the strength to continue our humble service in the footsteps of St. Francis of Assisi.
